Details steps of how to grow and maintain your plant
Elaichi/Cardamom/Green cardamom botanically known as Elettaria cardamomum from zinger family Zingiberaceae. It is a pungent, aromatic & herbaceous perennial plant native to southern India. It is a clumping plant with between 10 and 20 leafy shoots arising from the rhizome. Cardamom can reach a height of 2-4 m and has an economic lifespan of 10-15 years. It is cultivated widely in tropical regions, this is one of the world's most expensive spices after saffron and vanilla. Elaichi is known as the queen of spices. Once the cardamom is planted in the soil outside, it takes about 2-3 years before you can harvest their fruit, and some plants can even take up to 4-5 years.
