Calendula "Pacific Beauty" mix (Calendula officinalis) blooms in shades of saturated orange and yellow from spring through fall, and sometimes into winter. All calendulas make good cut flowers, but "Pacific Beauty," with its long, sturdy stems and exceptional vase life is a superior choice for arrangements and bouquets. Hardy and easy to grow. Calendula flower seeds prefer a sunny position. Sowing Instructions: Sow direct where they are to flower, in rows or clumps, 12mm (half-inch) deep. Keep moist. Thin out to 25cm (9in). Apply a pre planting fertiliser when preparing the soil to improve health and size of flowers. Remove dead flowers to prolong flowering.
