Alyssum/ Lobularia maritima with common names Sweet Alyssum, Carpet Flower is a delicate carpet of tiny flowers with a subtle, sweet scent. These small plants produce clusters of tiny flowers in clumps. The low-growing foliage is covered by flowers for much of the growing season. The blooms come in pink, salmon, purple, white and yellow. Flowers arise in June to October and can be encouraged to rebloom by cutting back spent flowers.
These are easy to grow and are perfect for Alpine Rock Gardens, Borders, Planters, Hanging Basket.
