Curcuma amada belong to the ginger family. A leafy rhizome herb, rhizome pale yellow inside, smell like green mango. Leaves long-petiolate. Flowers in a dense spike long, in the center of the tuft of leaves.
Flowering bracts greenish white, coma bracts tinged with pink or red. Rhizome having cooling, appetizer, stomache and other medicinal property.
