Allamanda purple Botanically known as Allamanda violaceae hybrida from Apocynaceae family. Common name are Allamanda purple, Allamanda violet, Pilaghanti, Common trumpet vine, Hybrid Allamanda, Harkakra etc.  It is a perennial flowering plant, blooms year around and noted for its leathery, dark green foliage and trumpet-shaped flowers. These are new hybrids of the popular allamanda climber from Brazil.
